What is Whole House Reverse Osmosis?
A whole house reverse osmosis is a water treatment technology that uses pressure to force untreated tap water or well water through microscopic pores in special membranes that remove contaminants.
Reverse osmosis technology works on the principle of osmosis—a natural process in which a solvent (in this instance water) passes through a semipermeable membrane from an area of low solute concentration to one where the solute is more concentrated.
This allows for the removal of most if not all contaminants and impurities from household water.
A whole house reverse osmosis system is a filtration technology capable of producing the purest drinking water available—four to 10 times purer than even bottled water. The result is safe, healthy, and refreshing water for you and your family.
